The Pinnacle Awards competition, sponsored by Spillman Co., captures the essence of success in the precast concrete industry today, spotlighting the entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude that it takes to survive and thrive in today's world. In a competition judged by their peers, precasters make five-minute presentations to describe innovative ideas, inventions or problem-solving techniques that create efficiencies, make the plant safer or boost profits. Awards are presented to the top two scoring entries in each of three categories: Production, Management/Marketing and Safety. The highest scoring entry of the entire competition earns the Pinnacle Award, a traveling trophy that the winning plant can proudly display for the next 12 months.
