Every new occupant of the White House, or more specifically the Department of Labor, announces an intent to reform, redirect, reinvigorate, recast or add value to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). It appears OSHA is in for its most pronounced policy swing in decades. This course, sponsored by NPCA's Safety, Health and Environmental Committee, will provide a timely update of the new OSHA standards along with a discussion of tougher OSHA enforcement policies to help employers prevent injuries and reduce the risk of OSHA citations.
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the latest changes in OSHA rules and regulations
- Determine how the OSHA changes will affect your organization
- Assess your organization for potential hazards
- Determine necessary changes in the precast plant to avoid violations during an OSHA inspection
