The largest awards event in the precast concrete industry, The Salute to Excellence, honors precasters, engineers, architects and contractors for their unique roles in lifting the industry to new heights through outstanding design, innovation, quality and an emphasis on safety.

The Salute to Excellence features:

THE PINNACLE AWARDS

A competition where precasters unveil inventions, innovations and new business practices that boost business, create efficiencies and promote safety. Participants in the awards competition serve as judges

THE CREATIVE USE OF PRECAST AWARDS

An awards program spotlighting the most innovative projects in Above Ground and Underground construction, where precast concrete plays a leading role. The awards are judged by an independent panel of leading experts in precast production and top academics in civil engineering.

THE QUALITY AWARDS OF MERIT

An awards program honoring the Top 25 scoring plants in NPCA’s plant certification program, culminating with the Quality Award of Excellence, which is presented to the Top 3 plants from more than 300 in the program.

THE NPCA SAFETY AWARDS

This important awards program honors precast concrete plants for achieving high levels of safety based on OSHA incidence rates. In 2007, the 126 entries represented more than 13.8 million man-hours of production.
